Praises & Prayer Requests

Want to pray for our family as we begin our journey as missionaries with MAF? Check out this page for our current praises and prayer requests.

We praise the Lord for:

~ The birth of our second son, Benjamin James Schandorff.  Ben was born on the 18th of June just one day before his due date and everything went very well.  So far he has been an easy baby who sleeps well and seems to be on a good schedule of sleeping and eating.

~  A growing number of supporters who have helped us to stay on track with our ministry support for MAF.  Currently we still plan to attend language school in January assuming that we are fully supported by that date.

~ A chance to meet with a couple of MAF Haiti families while they were home on furlough or passing through headquarters.  This served as a great encouragement as we work toward joining them in Haiti.

We covet your prayers for:

~ We will be traveling to Oregon for a friend’s wedding and to meet with some other friends and family as well.

~ We are quickly approaching our the support raising deadline that will decide if we are able to attend French language school in January.  If we miss this deadline we will start language school in September when the new school year begins.

~ for continued opportunities to share our ministry with MAF with churches, Sunday Schools, special interest groups and individuals as we discover the financial and prayer support team that the Lord has already chosen for us!

~ for the Lord to continue to move people to pray for our ministry and support it through financial giving.

~ the MAF staff that is already in Haiti doing the incredible work that God has called them to do.
